For the first time Aliso Viejo, Ca, will participate in the U.S. census. The nationwide survey is conducted every 10 years. The city was incorporated in 2001, missing the 2000 census. According to the Orange County Register, Mayor Phil Tsunoda encouraged resident participation last month as part of his 2010 Top 10 list. "Millions of dollars for schools, public infrastructure, transportation, and road projects are determined by the census," Tsunoda said, "and I am hopeful the City of Aliso Viejo and its residents will be very active."

Dear Residents of Shea's Aliso Viejo apartments:

By participating in this 10-question survey, you are making a statement about what resources your community needs. Please participate by turning in your form by the due date of April 1st. For more information regarding the 2010 census, please visit http://2010.census.gov/2010census/.
